DAY 1 – Depart UK

Take your chosen scheduled flight to Phoenix. Transfer independently to your hotel for your first two nights.

DAY 2 – Scottsdale

This stylish, cosmopolitan town has many shops, galleries and restaurants to make your stay more perfect. Join an early evening welcome reception at the hotel to meet your tour director and fellow travellers.

DAY 3 – Grand Canyon

Your journey starts with a drive through the stunning scenery of Northern Arizona to the spectacular red rock area of Sedona. Wander around the stores, browse the galleries or partake in the optional four wheel drive excursion through amazing landscapes. From Sedona, journey further north through Oak Creek Canyon to Grand Canyon National Park. Walk along the south rim of the Canyon offering spectacular views as the sun sets on the canyon walls. A sumptuous dinner has been arranged at the Thunderbird Room.

DAY 4 – Lake Powell

This morning, the choice is yours! Wake early and watch the sun rise over the Canyon, hop on the park shuttle to explore several look-out points or take a short hike down into the Canyon. Your next stop is the historic Cameron Trading Post, home to southwest Native American arts and crafts. Then journey on through Painted Desert, a colourful array of mesa’s and buttes through the Navajo Indian Reservations. Next stop is the Glen Canyon Dam before travelling on to your hotel where you will enjoy a lake view room for your two night stay. Take a leisurely cruise on the spectacular lake and explore scenic Antelope Canyon.

DAY 5 – Lake Powell

Today you are free to enjoy a relaxing day at your hotel or you may prefer to take a float trip down the Colorado River; a scenic flight over the Lake to Rainbow Bridge or the complimentary excursion to Monument Valley Tribal Park.

DAY 6 – Bryce Canyon

Moving on this morning, your journey takes you to Bryce Canyon National Park in southern Utah. Here you will find an ever-changing diversity of naturally carved amphitheatres, balanced rocks, gravity-defying bridges and rock spires in a truly amazing blend of colour. Make sure you enjoy a leisurely walk along Sunset Point to view the great amphitheatre of odd-shaped monoliths known as ’hoodoos’ before checking into the lodge. (Some departures of this itinerary will continue on to Zion National Park for the overnight accommodation.)

DAY 7 – Zion National Park

Today you will travel through more stunning scenery to the lush cliff-and-canyon landscape of Zion National Park. Join a private Zion Canyon shuttle tour with live commentary and experience the scenic highlights of the park then enjoy some free time to explore. Perhaps you’ll enjoy a hike through the colourful gorges and dramatic canyons before you leave this afternoon on your journey to Las Vegas - a complete change of scenery with bright lights, neon signs, huge themed hotels and the infamous casinos.

DAYS 8 & 9 – Las Vegas

We’ve extended your stay for a further two nights so that you can really make the most of this vibrant, exciting city and just discover why it really is the ’Entertainment Capital of The World’. Relax by the pool or take in some shopping at Fashion Show Mall. In the evening there’s a multitude of spectacular shows for you to enjoy. Dining in Las Vegas is a feast for all, from fine dining to casual fare.

DAY 10 – Return to the UK

Check out time is 12 noon so the morning is free for last minute shopping or sightseeing before making your own way to the airport to check-in for your flight back to the UK.
